LOVE Signs

My super, fabulous, artistic niece, Chloe, came over to make LOVE signs to hang in the kids rooms.  They turned out SOOOOO CUTE!!  I don't have the final product pictures, but can always post them later.  Kyla's sign is pink with turquoise letters and is hung up with turquoise ribbon.  Jack's sign is light green with white letters and hung up with a rope.  We had a lot of fun together making them.  I am so thankful that Chloe took time out of her day to make these with the kids.  It is truly something we can keep forever and look back on when they are grown.

Silly boy.

Say Cheese!!

July 4, 2014

We had a laid back 4th this year.  We went actually just went to the park to play and have snacks.  It was super hot outside, but it was fun to take a little walk and play.  Kyla was really happy because Reese fixed her hair.  She thought it was the coolest thing to look like her big sister.  Other than that, we didn't do much.  Reese went with Paula, Kevin, Tristan, and Chloe to do the "big kid" firework thing and Kyla and Jack were both sleeping by 8pm that night.

Summer Trip to the Zoo

We took the kiddos to the zoo and had a great time! Kyla is very interested in reading about the animals now.  When we stopped to look at the animals she would ask me to read the information to her.  It was really cute!

We saw these really yucky looking animals later in the afternoon.  We didn't walk all the way to the sign because it was kind of around the corner.  I asked Jesse, "I wonder what these are?"  He said, " I have no clue..."  Kyla then simply said,  "Ummm...maybe it's a wild boar..."  I had Jesse go walk around to read the sign and Kyla was right.  Haha!  I have no idea how she knows some of the things she does.  Ha!

The other cool thing the zoo has now is a place to feed the birds.  I stayed outside with Jack while Jesse took Kyla.  Kyla absolutely loved it and is now asking to have a bird at her house.  :-)

Clean Up, Clean Up....

I took these pictures while Jesse and the kiddos were cleaning.  Yes...I was annoying everyone.   Haha!  They know my camera is my "other child" so they don't give me too much of a hard time.
