My mom and sisters threw me a little surprise birthday celebration for my 33rd bday. We had a fun day!

A Day in the Life...
I have been changing more pics to black and white than I used to, but I'm not exactly sure why. I'm just liking a little bit of a different look I thought these two black and white pics turned out pretty cute!
My little Jack Henry follows me around ALL MORNING LONG while I get ready for work. He does great Monday-Wednesday. He just follows me around babbles, laughs, and plays. On Thursday, however, it's an entirely different story! I think he knows that I'm leaving and he starts to really miss me by Thursday. Thursday and Friday morning are pretty chaotic. Jack will throw himself on the floor, kick, scream, cry, throw his cereal on the floor, pretty much anything to get mommy's attention. I tend to run late EVERY Thurs and Fri because I make sure to give my baby lots of love and cuddles before I go. Jack doesn't mind after I leave. Jesse holds him in the doorway and they wave at me as I drive out of the driveway. Jack is always smiling at me as he waves bye. I know he loves hanging out with his daddy during the day so although it is challenging to get out of the door at the end of the week, it isn't too bad. :-)
The little ones love playing! I love to come home to them playing and being silly!
Reese Nicole
Reese is an amazing big sister. She is such a maternal and nurturing person. Don't get me wrong she is a normal 13 year old (with a 13 year old attitude...ha!), but Reese is honestly a very caring and loving person. She takes good care of her little sister and brother and makes sure that they know that they are loved!! I can't wait to find out what she will be when she gets older. Reese is SUPER talented in so many different ways. I'm not just saying that because I love her...it really is true. She is awesome and I feel SO blessed to have her in my life.
Oh Liddle Brodders
Kyla and Jack love playing with each other. They are always laughing and running around the house. It makes my heart happy to see them play together. Kyla says the cutest thing when Jack starts crying or getting upset...she simply says... "OH LIDDA BRODDERS"and then lets him get his way. Makes us smile. Love these kiddos so much!

Jack Henry is 14 months old!
I am so behind on my blogging because life is non stop with 3 kiddos running around, working full time, and working opposite schedules. We are pretty much single parents the entire school year, but thankfully the school year is coming to a close and we will have some much needed relaxation time!
I want to write about my sweet son right now so I don't forget all of the sweet things he does. I will get caught up on my pictures eventually since I use the blog as my scrapbook every year. For now though I am going to update about my amazing BABY BOY!
* Jack is the sweetest and easiest little guy. He is happy just being around the family. He goes with the flow and just basically makes us the happiest people on the planet. He goes to sleep around 7pm and sleeps until 6am.
* He still loves his bottle (ba-ba). We haven't taken it away from him yet. He loves it so much and he is our last baby so we are going to let him have it a little bit longer. We are probably asking for trouble, but we can just deal with it later, if it is. I think that Jesse is secretly waiting for me to be done with work for the summer so that I can be the "bad guy" finally takes the bottle away from him. Haha!!
* Once Jack started walking at 9 months, he never stopped. He walks and runs everywhere!
* Our little man also CLIMBS everything!! I am so surprised at how different boys and girls are. Kyla never really did climb things, but Jack is all over the couches, chairs, etc. He even stands on the play kitchen. Kyla would always just play and cook and wash dishes the "normal" play way and Jack opens the oven so he can stand on it and then the who kitchen comes crashing down on top of him. He is all boy!! Ha!
* Jack is the best eater. He eats anything and everything and would eat all the time if we let him. He really likes bold flavors. The more spice and flavor the more he likes it! His favorites are avocado, banana, apples, fajitas, rice, turkey, eggs, bacon, peas, carrots, green beans, cheese, yogurt, and toast. The only thing he doesn't like is milk out of the sippy cup. He just loves his bottle so much that he will not drink milk from the sippy cup. I can pour the same milk into his bottle though and he will drink it so I know it's not the milk.
* He is saying a couple words. His first word was dada. Then baba for bottle. He says mama too, but not as frequent. He says dog and LOVES dogs. He also recently started saying apple. It's so cute because he will just walk up to you look you right in the eyes and start to "talk" to you. He just babbles on and on in his own little baby talk language. I love it when he does this!!!
* Another really neat thing about Jack is that he truly understands what we say to him and has for a long time now. Even before he said any words, we could tell him to go get something and he would go get it. For example: his diapers - if you say, let's change your diaper, he will go get the wipes and a diaper; his shoes - he will go get his shoes and then let you put them on him and then he usually wants to go outside; hungry/eat - he will go to his high chair; baba go night night - he waits in the kitchen for his bottle then when he gets it he literally walks to his bedroom and points to his crib; clothes on - he will sit there while you put his clothes on and he helps you by lifting his arms and legs; take a bath - he tries to take his clothes off as he walks to the bathroom...then when he gets out, he stands there with his head down and waits for you to wrap him in a towel.
* Jack loves to dance and sing with his sisters.
* He gives kisses and hugs all the time and when you say the word "love" he will walk right up to you and cuddle up.
* Jack loves to read books. He will bring one to you and sit right in your lap while you read him the story.
* He recently found his belly button and loves showing you if you ask him where it is.
* He knows how to head nod "yes." If you ask him a question like, do you want more? He will do the cutest head nod.
We just love our boy so much that I don't even have the words to express it. I feel beyond blessed and thank God every day for my family. There is a bible verse that I always think of lately. It is as close as I can get to putting my feelings into words.
It is Ephesians 3:20. Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us.
Immeasurably more...God really can do more than we ever think or imagine!! I never imagined that I would love this much in life. I never imagined my heart being as full of love, happiness, joy, and pride as it is. I didn't think that I wouldn't love or be happy, but it is the extent of the feelings that overwhelms me. I am forever grateful for and give all the glory to God for the blessings in my life.

Medieval Times
We went to Medieval Times to celebrate my friend's birthday. I had never been so was super excited. I knew Kyla would LOVE it and couldn't wait to see how she acted during the show. The meal was perfect for her since she is a chicken connoisseur. Ha! The best part of the entire experience was that as soon as we walked into the castle, Kyla was in character and acting like one of the knights love interests. She was hysterical to watch. We sat in the front row and she seriously flirted with the knight. She kept giving him flirty eyes and a flirty wave and the knight SERIOUSLY was laughing while he was riding the horse past our seats. I have never been good at flirting, in fact, I really don't even know how to flirt, so I know she must get this side from her dad. Hahaha!
Anyway, Kyla would wave and blow kisses to the knight every time he rode by and he would always look right at her. Then they had a part of the show where the knights throw flowers into the audience. He rode right up in front of us...Like I said, we were front row and could have pretty much reached out and touched his horse...AND threw the flowers right over Kyla's head. I had to tell her not to worry and that maybe she would get one next time. So, he comes right up in front of us again AND THROWS THEM OVER HER HEAD to other kids. I was starting to get sad for her, but it was a good life lesson so I started saying things like, "you can't get a flower every time you come here and if you don't get one this time, maybe you can get one next time." I was still hopeful though that he would throw her one since I know he knew she was there. The knight ended up THROWING FLOWERS OVER KYLA'S HEAD TWO MORE TIMES!!! She was a great sport about it though aside from saying, "Dang it." LOL!
A little while later, however, the knight rode up to the king and queen and they tied a flower and a sash to the end of the jousting stick. Kyla was so excited and said, "Maybe I will get this one, mommy?" Well he rode right up to her and placed the jousting stick as close to her as possible so she could pull off the sash and flower. She was given the sash of love and beauty and was SOOOOOOO happy. It was just the sweetest thing to see her accept the sash and blow kisses to the knight. She was smitten with this guy for sure. She rode all the way home just gazing out the window holding her sash and flower. I smile every time I think about the experience. Such a fun memory!
