Reese is 12!

Reese's Birthday was December 13th.  She is now 12 years old!!  We had a little party for her at the house on her actual bday.  She asked for her favorite cake, Tres Leches, and a volleyball net and volleyball.  Reese also asked if she could have a slumber party over winter break.  She invited a couple friends over from school.  The girls had a great time.  We had a lot of dress up clothes ready for them so they had a fun a photo shoot.  I took a ton of pics, but am only including a couple on the blog.  The rest I am printing out and Reese is going to deliver them to her friends.  Happy Birthday, Reese!  We love you!!

Kyla and Santa 2012

Kyla loves Santa so much this year!  This is a picture I took of her picture with Santa.  When it was her turn to meet Santa, she walked right up to him and held his hands and talked to him.  I'm not sure what she said because I got out of the way as fast as I could so they could get a picture.  I watched from the side though and thought it was so cute to see her face after Santa gave her a candy cane.  It melted her heart and she was so happy.  She immediately gave him a big hug.  :)  Kyla talked about Santa giving her a candy cane the whole way home!  She also told me that she had "the best day ever!"      

White Christmas 2012

We cannot believe that it snowed on Christmas Day.  It hasn't snowed all year and then all of the sudden it started snowing around noon on Christmas.  It made for a very fun day.  Kyla LOVED the snow and would have stayed outside all day if I let her.  Daddy showed her how to catch snow on her tongue and how to make a snowball.  Every time we go outside now she says, "Where did the snow go, mommy?"

Christmas Day

We spent Christmas day with Jesse's family.  This Christmas was one to remember because not only did it snow, but Santa stopped by to visit as well!  When he showed up at the door, Kyla and Tatiana were amazed!  I have tried over and over to get these pictures in the correct order.  The computer isn't going to let me, unless I start over so...sorry they are out of order.  I think you can still tell how excited the girls were to see Santa at the house! :)

Kyla was very concerned that Santa wasn't going to be able to find his reindeer when he left.  She said, "How you gonna find your reindeer?" at least 10 times! Haha! She was worried that they had already flown away and that Santa wouldn't have a ride home.  LOL!  I love my sweet girl!

Christmas Morning

Here are my pictures from Christmas morning.  It was just me, Jesse, and Kyla for a little while and then Reese came home.  We opened gifts and got ready for the day before heading to Jesse's sisters house.

Christmas Eve

We always spend Christmas Eve with my family.  We had a great day hanging out, eating, and opening gifts.  Kyla and Jocelyn were really fun to watch.  They definitely care more about unwrapping the gifts than they do about the gift itself.
