Update...34 weeks

Hi there! The past couple weeks have been nice because Katy and Suzy were in town for Spring Break. It was good to see them and hear about the things they have been doing in college. Also, I recently took Reese to a siblings class at the hospital. She really enjoyed the class and is looking forward to being a new big sister and my little helper! The class was great because we were able to tour the hospital. We saw the delivery rooms and the nursery. I saw a little baby in the nursery and got really excited about being a mommy to a tiny little baby!

On the 25th, the ladies at work threw me a wonderful baby shower! Everything was perfect...the food, fun, friends, and family. Kyla is one lucky lady because she definitely has everything and more that she could ask for and she is not even here yet! I feel very blessed to have so many people excited about her arrival!

I will post a new baby bump shot soon for those of you who keep asking me for another one. I'm not quite sure if my tummy qualifies as a bump anymore. JJ said something perfect the other night. He said, "I think you should start calling it a baby mountain...instead of a baby bump!" We laughed because he is so right!!! Just when you think the belly won't get any bigger, it does!!!!

32 Weeks.

Here I am at 32 weeks sportin my green attire for St. Patrick's Day. At my doctor's appointment this week I found out that Kyla is weighing in at 5 lbs 3 oz! Can you believe that??!!! She is almost always poking, kicking, punching, and rolling around in my stomach. She gets the hiccups a lot too! I am amazed each time I see and feel her hands, feet, knees, and elbows moving around under my skin. Jesse and I thank God everyday for blessing our lives with this little baby! We love her so much already and are thrilled about meeting her sometime soon!

30 Weeks!

30 weeks and all is well! I finally have some time to sit down and tell you about what we have been up to lately. On Sunday, March 1st, Paula and Tina threw me a wonderful baby shower at the Fort Worth Botanic Gardens. It was really fun to be able to visit with family and friends! Jesse and I feel very blessed to have so many people in our lives that are excited about Kyla's arrival! I have to admit that I did not take very many pictures at the shower. I was just wandering around talking to people and loving every minute of it! I will post a few pictures that I do have.

On Monday, Jesse and I went to our first childbirth class. We have 3 more classes to attend in the series. We had a really good time together! Jess and I found out that we are not that great at relaxing since we giggled through the entire relaxation session. I have to admit that it was my fault since I decided to crack a joke when we were supposed to be in a "safe room and fully relaxed...both mentally and physically." Yes, I am sorry to say that we were "that couple." We were eventually able to re-gain our composure and finally focus. The class truly did teach us a lot that we did not know, so we are excited to go our next few classes.
