8 and 9 months - Update!

Here is what my Jack Henry has been up to lately...

* He is babbling...saying mamamama, dadadadada, babababa.   

* If mama is around, Jack wants his mama and isn't afraid to let us all know!  Ha!  He wants me to hold him and cuddle with him all the time.  There is a lot that I don't get done around the house, but I just let it go and love on my baby.  He won't be little for long so I'm trying to soak up every minute.  

* Jack LOVES his sisters.  He laughs and plays with Kyla all the time and when Reese walks into the room she is his go to girl.  Reese is the only person he will leave his mama's arms for.  

* At 8 months, Jack was eating baby food a couple times a day.  His favorite thing is his bottle!  This boy loves his milk!!  I feel like I'm giving him a bottle all the time.  At 9 months, he is starting to have more of an interest in food.  He is eating more baby food and trying the little puff crackers.  I have to break the puffs up into little tiny pieces or he will choke.  He also likes to drink out of his sippy cup.  He pretty much chugs the water.  Haha!  

* Jack is such A BOY!!  I can already see such a huge difference between boys and girls.  Jack is into everything!!  If you leave him alone for a second he is at an outlet pulling a cord out of the wall or trying to put his finger in the socket.  He opens cabinets, climbs in, and pulls everything out.  He reaches out for things and grabs anything he can when he is being held.  It makes me laugh!  We can't take our eyes off him for a second.

*  He loves music and dancing.  One of Jack's favorite things to do is dance with Kyla!

* On December 20th, he started taking 3 to 4 steps at a time!!  I can't believe my son is already taking steps AT 9 MONTHS OLD!  I think I will have to start pushing him down so he stays a baby forever.  ;-) 

* Jack is also signing the word more.  When he wants to eat, he will look at me and give me the sign more.  I took a wet washcloth away from him last night because he was putting it in his mouth and sucking up soap and bath water.  He got so mad and threw a big fit and VERY AGGRESSIVELY gave me the sign for more.  Haha!  I just looked at him and said, Jack you cannot have more of the washcloth.  LOL!

*  He also LOVES to wrestle around and charge after his daddy!! They roll around on the floor and play all the time and Jack just screams and squeals!  

His 9 month stats are: 

Weight - 21 lbs (81%) 

Height - 29 in (76%)

HC - 45 (49%)

I had a few pics on my phone that I didn't want to leave out. Jack enjoyed watching the kids trick or treat for about 4 or 5 houses and then he was out! He slept in the stroller until we got home. :)







I had to post this picture of Jack along with the flashback picture of Kyla. I love how they are both unhappy in their costumes when they first put them on. However, like all of the best mothers do, I force them to keep it on until they get used to it and then they end up being all smiles! Ha! Baby's fist Halloween is always so fun!
