Tiny Dancer

Here are some of my most favorite pictures of our tiny dancer! Kyla was watching Alvin and The Chipmunks the other day and had a blast dancing through the concert scenes. She looked so adorable and was having so much fun that I ran to grab my camera. Jesse and I sat on the couch together and watched our little girl dance along with Alvin, Simon, and Theodore. Haha! We both think that Kyla looks like such a big girl in these pictures. She is getting growing up so fast and we just LOVE HER TO PIECES!!!

Sunday Funday!

We went to church first thing in the morning on Sunday. I dressed Kyla in an outfit that was made for her by her great-grandma, Nonie. Nonie handmade Kyla's cute little groovy girl pants! I thought she looked adorable in her outfit so tried to get a good picture before we headed to church, but Kyla would not look at the camera at all!! At least I got a couple shots of her cute outfit though. Later that afternoon, Kyla definitely redeemed herself as I was taking pictures of her eating chicken noodle soup. She gave me the sweetest smile! I love my little Kyla-Ky!

Jesse's Birthday

Jesse had a great birthday this year! The only thing that he wanted was for the Dallas Mavericks to win the NBA Finals. Well, he got his wish because the Mavs beat the Heat and WON! Go Mavs...first time in franchise history! After the Mavs won, Jesse's mom immediately got busy planning a Dallas Mavericks party for Jesse. She is the best when it comes to having a birthday party for her kids EVERY YEAR. She doesn't play around either because she always makes sure to get you the EXACT number of balloons and candles as your age. Ha!

Here are more pictures by the pool! Hanging out in the pool is something that we do pretty much every day around here. Kyla absolutely loves to swim. She typically plays for about 45 minutes and then wants to go in to get something to eat. Reese, on the other hand, would spend the entire day outside in the pool! She is a great swimmer!

Swimming Pool Fun!

The hot summer days are not bothering us this year because we spend most of our days in the pool. Kyla absolutely loves being in the water. She likes to play in the water until she gets hungry. Reese is spending her pool days perfecting her diving board jumps. Nothing better than having fun in the sun with the family!!
