23 Months!!

I cannot believe that Kyla will be TWO YEARS OLD in one month!!! She fills our hearts with joy and makes us laugh all the time. Jesse, Reese, and I always talk about how much we love Kyla!! I think that we are amazed with the amount of love in our hearts for this little girl. Kyla has a very captivating spirit and once you spend a few days hanging out with her, she will have a place in your heart forever! We are forever grateful to God for blessing our lives with Kyla. She is the most perfect addition to our family! Right now she wants to spend every minute outside! She loves to explore the outdoors. She picks flowers, examines bugs, and climbs anything and everything. Her favorite food is definitely cheese pizza, but apples and bananas are a close second. Kyla loves her school and teachers and has continued to do a great job of taking naps on her nap mat. When we are inside, she likes to color, read books, play with her toys, and watch movies (the Toy Story series and Ice Age series are her favorite). An Afternoon with Nonie

We recently spent an afternoon with Nonie. We ran errands, stopped by an awesome frozen yogurt place, and then played outside. Happy day with a great grandma!!

Family Fun Day!

We had a family fun day over spring break. The weather was great so we decided to cook out and spend the day outside. We all had a really good time! Life for all of us has been so busy, so it was nice to be able to have a day to hang out and enjoy each others company.

Picnic at the Park

Today I took the girls to the park for a picnic! It wasn't a homemade picnic, but it was a sonic grilled cheese and slush kind of picnic. Yummy!! Reese and Kyla loved it and we all had a great time. After we ate our lunch, we walked over to the playground and played on the swings and slides. I love these girls so much and enjoyed being able to watch them have such a fun afternoon. Being a mommy is the BEST! :)

Lovin the Sprinkler

It looks like it's going to be a sprinkler filled summer this year! Kyla was not a huge fan of the sprinkler last year; however, this year she loves to run and play in the water. If she sees the sprinkler anywhere in the yard, she takes off at lightening speed so that she can get wet. Kyla laughs, screams, and smiles the entire time that she plays outside.

Mommy/Daughter Day!!

Kyla and I had a mommy/daughter day today and it was so much fun! I love spending time with our little girl. She fills my heart with joy. We play, eat, smile, laugh, and sometimes even get frustrated with each other! :) Today we went to Barnes and Noble, played outside, and ate lunch outside because the weather was beautiful! Kyla picked out a toy at Barnes and Noble and loved it so much that she carried it around with her all day. Great day and great memories. I love my little Kyla more than words and am already looking forward to our next mommy/daughter day!!
