20 Weeks

The Pumpkin Patch

We got to go to the pumpkin patch this year!  I was so happy to be able to take Kyla!  All she is talking about lately is Halloween and pumpkins so I knew she would love it.  This morning Kyla and I got up and ready to go out for the day and right before we were leaving, Jesse found out that he didn't have to be at work until 4:30.  He jumped up and said he would hang out with us so we made a last minute decision to go to the pumpkin patch.  Seeing the look on Kyla's face as we walked up made me the happiest mommy on the planet.  She was THRILLED!  We all had a great time hanging out in the cool weather!  I know there are a lot of pictures, but I just couldn't leave any out!

It's a BOY!

Wow! I can't even believe it! We are so excited to start a new adventure with a little boy in our lives! Jesse and I thought it was a boy the whole pregnancy UNTIL I had a dream about a girl. We then started thinking that we were just destined to have all girls. However, we were thrilled when we were told that our baby is a boy!! I cried and Jesse was speechless. Reese and Kyla are very excited too! We brought balloons home for the girls to let them know that a baby brother is on the way. Kyla was more excited about the balloons than anything else and Reese's jaw basically hit the floor when saw the blue boy balloons. Haha! Overall, the entire family is looking forward to meeting our little...JACK HENRY ARMENDAREZ.

I had a dream...

...that I had ANOTHER GIRL!  I have been thinking and leaning more towards boy this entire pregnancy until last night!  I now have this gut feeling that we are going to have another girl.  We find out in two days!  I can remember being pregnant with Kyla and thinking boy the entire pregnancy until one day when I had a day dream.  I pictured our family Christmas card with Jesse holding a little girl.  I had that "vision" about two weeks before my sonogram and sure enough, we later found out we were going to have Kyla.  I had to get online tonight and blog about my dream last night just in case it proves to be true.  In my dream, I kept pointing Kyla's sister out to her and saying things like "let's go get your sister," but I wasn't talking about Reese!!  So...stay tuned...we will know for sure in two more days!

Jesse and I really will be happy to have either a boy or a girl.  I have been excited about a boy for the last 18 weeks and now I find myself getting exciting about having another girl.  We feel so blessed to be having another baby and we will definitely be happy with whatever God gives us!  We know He has a plan for us and we are excited to see where life takes us.  :)
