Kyla's First Dentist Appointment

Since Kyla is turning four in a week, I figured it would be a good time for her to go to the dentist for a check up. I know they (the books) say to go when a baby is one, but I just never did with Kyla pretty much because she only had a couple of teeth. Ha! Now that she is getting older, has a full set of teeth, and is eating and drinking more, I wanted to make sure she didn't have any cavities. Well...Kyla had no cavities and the dentist said her teeth look great!

Also, Kyla did a great job at the dentist!!! She loved being at the office. It was the funniest thing because I didn't know if she would be ok with them messing around in her mouth, but she acted like a trooper and was perfect for the entire appointment. Just another reminder that my Kyla is growing up!

Coloring Easter Eggs

Kyla has been such a good girl since Jack came home.  She isn't jealous of him at all.  She calls him "mommy's baby" and makes sure that I am taking good care of  him.  I have been worrying a bit about whether I am giving Kyla enough attention as we adjust to a new routine with baby Jack.  So...I made it a point to give her some one-on-one time to color easter eggs!  She was SOOOOO happy!!  Seeing her happy face and spirit as we colored the eggs made me want to cry.  I love my little girl with all my heart!

Birthday Parties and Face Painting

Kyla absolutely LOVES going to birthday parties! We recently went to Tatiana's party and Kyla had a blast! She had her face painted for the first time ever! She chose a butterfly and it turned out too cute! Kyla also enjoyed some food and drinks and took a few good swings at the piñata. She left with a bag full of candy and a big smile! I loved watching her have such a good time.

Jack's First Month

We are all LOVING our newest family member.  Jack brings us all so much joy and happiness.  He is a great baby and loves to cuddle! He pretty much spends most of his time eating and sleeping and is still little enough that you can move him all around and he stays asleep.  Jack is probably going to be spoiled because it seems like someone is always holding him...ok, so I will admit it...that someone is usually his mommy.  Ha!  I just love him so much and it feels so good to hold and love on my baby.  I don't want to waste one minute of him being little because I know he will grow so fast!  

I'm going to do my best to keep the blog updated.  It is definitely harder to get computer time with the two little ones.  However, I love printing out my blog every year so I will do my best!!  Below are some pictures of Jack's first month!
