2 Years Old!!

We may be a bit biased, but we think that Kyla is the cutest, sweetest little 2 year old EVER! Jesse and I always talk about how much we love spending time with our Kyla. Reese is also head over heels in love with her little sister and just can't get enough of her either. At 2, Kyla is a very loving girl who likes to have a lot of fun. God truly blessed us when he gave us Kyla. We could not have picked a better daughter. She is perfect for our family! The last two years with our sweet girl have passed really fast. I sometimes get sad that time goes by so quickly, but I never want to turn back the clock. I love watching her grow up and learn new things! Happy 2nd Birthday, Kyla!

Easter Egg Hunt

The mamarazzi took a TON of pictures on Easter Sunday! I decided to separate Kyla's birthday party pictures from the Easter egg hunt pictures because there were so many. Before Easter, we gave Kyla her Easter basket so that she could get used to carrying it around. It was a soft white basket that looked like a bunny. Well...Kyla thought it was a hat! It was hilarious! Every time I gave her the basket she put it on her head and the handle under her chin. Haha! Needless to say, I had to get Kyla a different Easter basket. I ended up buying her something that was smaller and more like a purse. She did much better with the smaller basket and did not use it as a hat. I thought that for sure she would be ready to hunt eggs with the smaller basket. So, after all of that, Kyla was not interested in the egg hunt! She was more interested in following Reese around while Reese looked for eggs. Maybe next year. :) Reese, as usual, was running around the yard at 100mph. I was trying to take great pictures of her, but she was in and out of the frame before I could even snap the shot! I did get a couple good pictures though, so Reese and I were both happy!

2nd Birthday Celebration - Part 2

Here are the rest of my pictures from Kyla's 2nd B-day celebration. Happy Birthday sweet girl! We love you!

Opening presents.

Kyla was really into all of her new Toy Story 3 dolls, however, she fell in love with Woody as soon as she saw him. She would not put him down or let ANYONE else hold him!

It's pinata time!

Here is Kyla, cheering on her cousins as they take turns hitting the pinata.

Happy 2nd Birthday, Kyla!

Can you believe that we celebrated Kyla's 2nd birthday?!!! The last two years has gone by so fast. I truly cannot believe that we have a little girl, not a baby...not even a toddler, on our hands. I can honestly say that the last two years with Kyla in our lives have been a blast! She is amazing!

This year, we decided to celebrate her birthday on Easter Sunday since the family was all going to be together. We also decided to have a "Butterfly Birthday Party" since Kyla LOVES butterflies. The day could NOT have been any more perfect. Anna, Paula, and Kevin helped plan a perfect day for Kyla! There was delicious food, a beautiful cake, awesome gifts, a butterfly pinata, an Easter egg hunt, and last, but not least, our amazing family! We all had the best day and most importantly, Kyla had a great time! I think that her favorite part of the day was definitely when she was standing at the table watching everyone sing happy birthday. She seemed to love the singing and the candles. As soon as we lit the candles, she started to gently blow on them. As soon as we finished singing and helped her blow out the candles, she looked up at everyone and starting smiling and signing "more." It was the cutest thing! She wanted us to sing to her again!

Mama and daddy with Kyla on Easter Sunday!

The grandkids...most, but not all.

The party girls!

See the resemblance? I think Kyla looks a bit like her Aunt Paula!

How cute is this birthday girl?!

Grandpa couldn't be at the party, but he wanted Kyla to have a tiara. Here she is being all girly!
