19 months old!

19 months old and never a dull moment! Our Kyla Mae is growing up SO FAST! She is getting bigger every day and her personality continues to entertain the entire family. At 19 months...

* Kyla loves to feed the kitty. Winnie is learning that Kyla is the best person to hang out with because whenever Kyla is around, Winnie gets more cat food.

* Her favorite movie is Ice Age. She laughs really hard at several different parts of the movie. Kyla's laugh is very contagious. If she is laughing, we are laughing.

* She climbs everything! I can't take my eyes off of her for one second or she will be standing on a chair or climbing onto a table.

* Kyla loves it when we lay down on the floor with her. She will climb all over us, cover us up with blankets, make us hold her baby doll, etc.

* She loves to stand behind us and hide. I usually call her name over and over and then turn around and act shocked to see her behind me. She laughs so hard when I do this and wants me to do it over and over and over.....

I don't have that many pictures to share this month since I just started a new job. Once I get into the swing of things at work, I will have more time to get pictures of my little one and will continue to be the best mamarazzi out there! Hahaha!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving 2010! We had a great Thanksgiving and were absolutely stuffed when we went to bed last night. My contribution to the turkey dinner this year was yummy banana pudding! Reese helped me make it and she is now an expert banana slicer. Ha! Jesse enjoyed hanging out with the guys and watching the Cowboys play. Kyla spent the day walking around and exploring! Her favorite thanksgiving foods this year were cornbread stuffing, green bean casserole, ham, and gravy. We all had a great day hanging out with family!

We took the first picture before we left to go hang out with Jesse's side of the family. Kyla was already exhausted and not too happy that we made her take a picture with us. :) She fell asleep as soon as we put her in the car seat. The car ride was about 15 minutes. I thought that she would definitely wake up when the car stopped, BUT she didn't! I carried her through the cold weather and into the house where there were lots of people. Kyla slept through it all! I laid her down on her cousin's bed and she NEVER WOKE UP! Our little Kyla NEVER does this so I had to mention it in this post. Kyla's grandpa (Jesse's dad) snuck in the room later (when mommy wasn't watching) and woke her up so that she could join the party. Hahaha!! The second picture is Kyla sleeping. We just had to capture the uncommon moment on camera! :)

Who do I look like?

I have been wanting to do a look alike post for a long time, but am just now getting around to it. So...here are the pictures that I saved. I think it is really fun to try to figure out who Kyla resembles. I've decided that her eyes are definitely mine and that she has her daddy's mouth. What do you think?
