These pictures are all from the beginning of the summer. I am behind on my blogging again so I'm going to be doing several posts of mainly pictures so that I can be sure to get them all in this years blog book. Anyway...some of the pictures below are of Jack's FIRST TIME in the swimming pool. He didn't seem to love it or hate it. His expression was very serious. Haha! Most of the other pictures are of Kyla having fun in the sun with her family.

Throwback - Surprise Baby Shower
I have to delete some pictures off my phone because I am out of storage. However, I have to post some because they are so great and I don't want to forget some things. For example, my surprise baby shower thrown by one of my classes. They asked my teaching partner if they could throw a shower for me and he told them that they could if they did all the planning. So these sweet little 5th graders sent messages home, collected money, and ended up bringing food, decorations, and gifts! I truly was in shock and had no idea! I have never had a surprise party so it truly touched my heart that my students threw this for me and my baby. Not to mention, my awesome teammates who were in on every bit and allowed the kids to plan this and use their classroom for the party. Baby Jack got some adorable outfits, we had some delicious donuts, fruit, and cupcakes, and the decorations cracked me up. They were blue and green. My favorite part was that they got a copy of my yearbook picture from the art teacher and made copies and taped my picture to the balloons. Haha! Another favorite was that they decorated a tissue box in streamers. I think we definitely have some party planners in this group of kiddos! They are so creative!! I love my students and love my job...brings me so much happiness!

Dress Up
Reese and Kyla have been playing a lot of dress up lately. It's so fun to see what they come up with. Makes me smile every time.
The fashionista...

The thinkers...

The crazy kids...

I don't even know what to say about this one...Reese decided to stuff socks in Kyla's top. Haha! I was shocked when they walked out of Reese's room. Laughed so hard! Love these girls!

4 months old
Our little Jack Henry is four months old! He is doing great and is SO stinkin lovable! He loves to cuddle and be held. Jack is so happy to be around people. He laughs and smiles and talks to us all the time. He pretty much has the eat, play, sleep routine down. He doesn't take long naps, but will "cat nap" several times throughout the day. Jack isn't sleeping through the night anymore. He is waking up to eat about two times a night. He doesn't stay up...just eats and falls right back to sleep. Jack also recently found his toes and tongue. Ha! He went through a little stage where he was always grabbing his feet and sticking his tongue out at the same time. I will try to get a picture of that if he does it again. :) Jack loves tummy time and is always reaching out to grasp things which immediately go into his mouth. I have also noticed that he can scoot around on his play mat. I will face him one direction during tummy time and when I look at him again, he has inched and scooted his body around to face the opposite direction. We all just love our little man so much and can't imagine our life without him!
