2nd Birthday Celebration - Part 2

Kyla was really into all of her new Toy Story 3 dolls, however, she fell in love with Woody as soon as she saw him. She would not put him down or let ANYONE else hold him!

Happy 2nd Birthday, Kyla!

Can you believe that we celebrated Kyla's 2nd birthday?!!! The last two years has gone by so fast. I truly cannot believe that we have a little girl, not a baby...not even a toddler, on our hands. I can honestly say that the last two years with Kyla in our lives have been a blast! She is amazing!

This year, we decided to celebrate her birthday on Easter Sunday since the family was all going to be together. We also decided to have a "Butterfly Birthday Party" since Kyla LOVES butterflies. The day could NOT have been any more perfect. Anna, Paula, and Kevin helped plan a perfect day for Kyla! There was delicious food, a beautiful cake, awesome gifts, a butterfly pinata, an Easter egg hunt, and last, but not least, our amazing family! We all had the best day and most importantly, Kyla had a great time! I think that her favorite part of the day was definitely when she was standing at the table watching everyone sing happy birthday. She seemed to love the singing and the candles. As soon as we lit the candles, she started to gently blow on them. As soon as we finished singing and helped her blow out the candles, she looked up at everyone and starting smiling and signing "more." It was the cutest thing! She wanted us to sing to her again!

Bounce House

Happy Early Birthday, Kyla! Daddy came home from Toys R Us today with a bounce house! He set it up immediately and let the girls go to town! They absolutely loved it! It is so fun to watch them in there bouncing all around each other. Thanks so much for the best present ever, daddy! Great idea!

What a Face!

Look at our Kyla! Today was the first day that I put her hair in a high pony tail. I think it looked so cute and just loved seeing her with her hair pulled back off of her face. I took a couple pictures of her pony tail and then put her in her crib while I got ready for the day. When I went into the room to check on her, she was hugging and loving on her teddy bear. My heart melted when I saw her being so sweet to her teddy so I grabbed my camera and took a few more pics. :)

Quality Time

TK was in town recently and was able to spend some quality time with the girls. She callls all the time and wants to know about everything they are up to. I try to send her pictures as much as possible so that she can get her "niece fix." Katy and Jorge are always so excited about getting to play with Kyla and Jocelyn. The first thing out of their mouth when you see them is... "Where are the babies?" Katy runs to them and cuddles and Jorge immediately scoops them up and typically starts playing a fun game. Kyla loves to wrestle around and climb all over him.

The Dynamic Duo

Kyla and my sweet niece, Jocelyn, were all dressed up and ready to go to a birthday party the other night. Before we headed to the party, the girls enjoyed some playtime outside. I, of course, took my camera out with us and got the cutest pictures! I have the best time watching them play together. I hope and pray that they stay friends their whole life!
