We had a big family pool party to celebrate Jesse's 40th birthday, my mom's birthday, and father's day.  Everyone had a great time swimming, eating, and hanging out.  Fun times and great memories.

Daddy's Birthday

Kyla has been on a donut kick for birthday parties lately.  So....daddy got donuts for his 40th birthday this year!  We also got him a big yummy breakfast.  We are having a pool party later this week to celebrate so there will be more birthday pics to come.  

Happy Birthday, honey.  We love you so much!  Thank you for loving us and having fun with us all the time.  You are an awesome daddy and husband.  We are truly blessed to have you in our lives.  

My little swimmer!

My Kyla is such a good swimmer! I can't believe it. She swims like a fish! I still make her wear a life jacket because I have to watch Jack at the same time. I know it just takes a second for something bad to happen at the pool so for now, safety first! Kyla doesn't seem to mind at as long as she can stay in the pool all day.

Happy Birthday, Grandma!

Kyla wanted to take donuts to grandma for her birthday so we got up early and headed to Shipley's! Kyla was so excited to surprise grandma! She talked about it the whole way there. Ha! Happy Birthday Grandma CC!

Proud

Jesse is such a proud daddy!  He is so happy to have a son.  I can't wait to see what life has in store for this father/son duo!

Nails

Jack has been scratching his face a lot because his nails have grown.  I am too scared to cut his nails with clippers so I decided to file them down before his bath the other night.  Reese thought it was so cute so she ran to get the camera and made me promise to put the pics on the blog.  So far, filing his nails has helped keep his face injuries down to a minimum.  :-) 

Visit with Grandpa Dan

Grandpa Dan came over to visit with the kids the other day.  I took a few pictures while they were hanging out.  I love the pic of Grandpa reading to Kyla because if you look closely, Kyla has lip gloss all over her mouth. Ha! She hasn't yet mastered getting the lip gloss on her lips only and I think it is so cute!!  Jack gave lots of smiles to his Grandpa Dan while he was over.  It was a great visit!

How cute is my baby boy?!!  Well...his mommy thinks he is the cutest little guy on the planet!!  I LOVE MY SWEET SON!

In Love!

I am so in love with my little Jack Henry.  He is the sweetest baby and I just cannot get enough of him!!

3 months old!

Jack is 3 months old!  He is just as cute as ever and we fall in love with him more and more every day.  He is my little cuddle bug!  Jack loves to be held!  We have already spoiled him by holding him too much.  They just grow so fast though and I know once he is up and moving around he won't want to sit still and cuddle anymore.  So...we just hold him and snuggle all the time!!  

Jack started smiling and talking to us around seven/eight weeks old and hasn't stopped since.  He has recently started cooing really loud!  He looks right at us and smiles and talks!  We all love it and spend a lot of our day just talking to our little man.  Jack has also started to reach out and grab/grasp things.  When I lay him on his back under his play mat, he will reach up and grab the toys above him.  He is sleeping through the night.  I swaddle him around 8pm and he will sleep until about 4 or 5 in the morning, get up and eat for about 5 minutes and then go back to sleep until 7:30 or 8am.  

Jack is such a sweet little boy and we already cannot picture our lives without him!  We thank God everyday for our "baby Jack."  He has made us whole and completed our circle.  We love you sweet boy!

Reese

Reese is such a great girl!  I am truly blessed to have her in my life.  We talk a lot about everything and just have a special kind of bond.  She is growing up so fast and turning into such a fun young lady.  I can't believe that the teenage years are headed our way!  Yikes!  ;-)
