Cute pics!

I thought I should post a couple more pics since I started work for the school year yesterday. Yay!! I'm so excited to meet my new students this year! Last year was awesome and i just loved my 92 kiddos (yes, i taught 92 students...crazy!) so much! I had fun teaching and they had fun learning!! Anyway, I always get pretty busy in the beginning of the year and don't have much time to blog. I'll do my best to keep up though! For now, here are a couple cute pics of Miss Kyla.

Reese and Kyla start back to school next Monday so I'll be sure to take pics of them before their first days at school!

Lazy Day

Kyla and I had an awesome lazy day at home today. We didn't go outside once! I love spending my days with her. She gives me lots of love and includes me in everything she does. If I leave the room for a bit Kyla usually yells out..."Mommy, where are you?!" When I show up again she gives me the biggest smile, runs to me, and grabs my hand so that I will play with her.

My Sweet Kyla

South Padre Island

Jesse and I decided to take an adults only trip to South Padre Island. We went with Paula and Kevin and had a blast! It was our first time to leave Kyla for several nights in a row so I was a bit worried, but she had a great time hanging out with Anna, Grandpa, Reese, Tristan and Chloe! We had an awesome trip! It was so nice to be able to sit on the beach all day and do nothing except read my book! Good times! When we got home, Kyla sprinted right up to me and said, "Mama Mama!" That alone was worth going out of town! I love that she missed me!

Surfing at the souvenir shop! Reese made me promise to bring her home something from the beach so I got her a really pretty ankle bracelet.

Diving Board!

We have spent most of our days this summer swimming so Kyla has learned how to jump off the diving board. It is definitely not mommy's favorite thing because I don't want her to get hurt. However, Kyla loves it and I love watching her have fun! I am trying to "let go" a little and not hold my breath every time she jumps. She is so brave and fearless...takes after her daddy!!
